Milano...

definitely a place to put on your destination wish list, with some of the following photos you will see what I mean.

AS usual however, my trips do not go without mishaps, and my mishaps always seem to be bigger than that of the usual traveller. Easyjet canceled the flight i was on, with them letting us travelers know after 5 hours of knowing that it was not taking off (although according to the easyjet website we were flying, while we sat in Malpense airport. Strange that!) By 3am at the airport in Milan, i was informed by out new 'buddy' of all the legal actions we could take, with him then stealing the first ticket to Paris first thing in the morning, something tells me he was not too worried about his new buddies.

14 hours later, with one plane to paris, several weird 'room mates' at the airport, a first class ticket on the Eurostar, (which was cheaper than economy class) I was back in London. Three fashion capitals in 1 day, not a bad outcome!

*Advice to those traveling to the capital : be cautious of the curse of the friendship bracelet! When visiting the Duomo make sure that you do not get a string bracelet forced around your wrist, in fact if someone approaches you with one then run, run as far as you can, it definitely does not bring luck, unless of course you give the 'pusher' a 10 euro tip, so that he does not curse it!' Ever since that bracelet was placed on my wrist after giving him only a 2 euro tip, nothing but luck came my way, even when I stomped on the testicles of the bull in Emmauelle Vittorio (as described by my guidebook).

Another piece of advice for travelers : beware of DK Top 10 travel guide to Milan, it holds information that does not exist, it may need some updating with help of Milan inhabitants, swap your Margarita bar recommendation for TIBI.or just trust me and purchase another tour guide all together.

With love from Milano x

Off she went with a trumpety-trum Trump, trump, trump

Bright and early walking to work through Covent Garden piazza, a pleasing addition makes my morning. The elephants have arrived, make sure you witness these glorious creatures while they are around.

Check out http://www.elephantfamily.org/how-can-you-help/volunteer/ to see what they are all about, make sure you take the time to see all 250 around the heart of London town.

viva italia.

From Rome - Naples - Sorrento (Amalfi) - Positano - Pompeii - Pisa and Florence, so many sites were captured. And next up on my agenda is Milano. So in memory of my previous destinations in Italia, here are some pictures to share of my travels. Hopefully, with the help of my SLR this weekend some more can be shared from fashionable Milan. The pictures included here are from Florence... breathtaking Florence.

Sip of summer for teatime.

Beach shoot. 'Sip of summer' taken for 'teatime' -Fmp project. Styling, and photography by moi. Location, Limassol, Cyprus. On the day of the shoot we were blessed with the sun, but not so much with the wind. The beach ball featured in some additional photos was hard to tame while taking these shots. *The wind gave the model a great sense of movement, with the hair and the clothes that I styled her in. *
